Goodbye 2025 I truly sucked in 2025! The urge not to fiddle and tinker and change stuff was very high.

You would be very entitled to say “your system was shit! You were flat in a 25% bull market”.

Yes, Sir I agree.

But I am living my life like a Thousandaire Wall Street bro. Year end has been and gone..

We all start on zero again…

So this is how the portfolio lines up against the SP500.

  • Current Open Equity = 30.2%

  • Stop Loss Trigger = 27%

  • Current Closed Equity Return = 26.5%

Our open equity outstanding is ~30% since we started in Dec ‘23. We have been able to capture ~27% returns in closed trades, meaning ~4% open equity still belongs to Mr Market. Until we close the trade it doesn’t yet belong to us!

Do I wish it was higher? Of course I do! Equities have had a crazy year in 2025 and I wish I had captured more of it.

I am also super proud that the system in the panic of April allowed us to keep our head and not make any stupid forced mistakes.

Everyday is a school day.
